Pre Procedure

1.  Wear your normal makeup and have your brows filled in the way you normally do it, so I can get an idea of how you like your brows and can create a shape that compliments both your liking and my recommendation.

3. Do not resume any eye brow waxing and chemical peel facials  for at least 2 weeks.

4. Please wait 2 weeks for microblading if you recently had any forehead injections, example, botox, dysport.

5. Please avoid coffee/energy drinks atleast 8hrs prior to your appointment if you are sensitive to caffeine and won't be able to relax with eyes closed causing you to be jittery and tense.

6. Please avoid alcohol atleast 8hrs prior to your appointment as alcohol thins blood causing it to circulate and may result in excessive bleeding causing the pigment not to absorb or settle.

Microblading-Post Procedure

The pigment will appear very natural looking immediately after the procedure. Strokes  and the shape will appear darker in the next few days after treatment and then become about 30-40% lighter again after flaking. The color of the pigment will appear much darker the next day. Note that because of natural skin regeneration, oxidizing with air and skins oils, it will affect the color by darkening, after recovery period (peeling), brows will appear lighter than the original. This might give you the impression that color is fading too quickly. Often even with proper care, customer develop bald spots or lose original hair stroke which make brows look uneven. It is absolutely normal. That’s is the reason why most customers need a touchup after 6-8 weeks.

It is essential that you follow these instructions after your session:

Rinse face and wash with gentle cleanser (or none at all) everyday, to remove any oil and residue. Pat to dry, avoid scrubbing.

Apply a thin layer, usually the size of a rice grain on a qtip over the brow and repeat on the other. Apply ointment for 4 days, morning & night.

The following must be avoided for 10 days post-microblading procedure or until all scabbing is completely gone:

• Allowing any direct water touch the brows- like facing the shower. Avoid the water stream over brows.

• Sweating

• Exercising, Practicing sports

• Swimming, Hot sauna, hot bath, or Jacuzzi

• Sun tanning or salon tanning

• Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acid on the face or neck

•Touching, picking, peeling, or scratching of the brow area. You will cause scarring of the area or removal of the pigment if you pick or peel scabs prematurely. And can expose your brows to infection from dirt and germs.

• Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris – now is not the time!

• Spicy foods (as it makes some sweat)

• Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles

• Do not use any cleansers or facial products of any kind, over the brow area for at least 10 days.

• Absolutely do not use any makeup over the brow area while healing, It will get infected.

Your eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle

Days 1-4: The pigment will appear very sharp and dark. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin, and has not yet settled in completely. The color of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab, as this is excess pigment and/or body fluid that is naturally exiting your skin. Your brows may swell and appear larger also.

Days 5-7: Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might give you the impression that the pigment is fading too quickly; however, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows.

Days 8-12: Your brows may look as though the pigment has completely faded – do not panic – take a deep breath and trust the process.

Days 14-28: Your brows may still look a little patchy or uneven, but the pigment will start to “reappear” as the pigment settles and the healing continues.

If you have any unexpected problems with the healing of the skin, if any prolonged swelling or redness of the treatment site or signs of an infection, please call your physician immediately.

Touch-ups and/or correction of the shape-design are recommended only after 5-9 weeks of the initial appointment. Since everyone heals at a different rate, touchups are recommended to be done 5-9 weeks post, NOT SOONER to allow for complete healing of the brows.
